Terms of Service
Last Updated: Jan 12, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Patch platform (“Patch,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using Patch, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Patch Is
Patch is an inbound call outcome analysis platform that analyzes phone calls from supported VoIP providers to determine business-level outcomes (for example: booked, high-intent inquiry, missed call).
Patch:
- Does not provide phone numbers
- Does not route calls
- Does not record calls
- Does not store full call transcripts or recordings
All call data originates from your connected VoIP provider.
2. Relationship to Your VoIP Provider
You acknowledge that:
- Your VoIP provider records calls and manages recording consent
- You are responsible for complying with all applicable call recording and consent laws
- Patch acts solely as a data processor on top of your VoIP provider
Patch does not control call routing, recording behavior, or consent mechanisms.
3. Data Processing Model
Patch processes call data using a strict lifecycle:
ingest → sanitize → analyze → drop
Key points:
- Call transcripts and audio are processed ephemerally in memory only
- Full transcripts and recordings are never stored
- Patch cannot retrieve, replay, export, or reconstruct transcripts
Patch stores only:
- Call metadata (time, duration, direction)
- Outcome classifications
- Tags and system flags
- Short, sanitized evidence snippets
4. Automated Analysis & AI
Patch uses automated systems, including large language models, to classify call outcomes.
You understand and agree that:
- Classifications are probabilistic, not guarantees
- Patch does not provide legal, financial, or sales advice
- Business decisions made using Patch are your responsibility
Where supported, Patch may allow Bring Your Own AI Key (BYOK).
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Patch to analyze calls without lawful consent
- Attempt to reconstruct full conversations from evidence snippets
- Use Patch for surveillance, monitoring individuals, or unlawful purposes
- Misuse or reverse engineer Patch’s classification systems
6. Data Ownership
- You retain ownership of your data
- Patch does not sell user data
- Patch uses data only to provide and improve the service
Because full transcripts are never stored, transcript access, export, or deletion requests do not apply to Patch.
7. Availability & Early-Stage Nature
Patch may be operated in a pre-launch, pre-POC, or early-access state.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Patch is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Lost revenue or business outcomes
- Errors or inaccuracies in automated classifications
9. Termination
You may stop using Patch at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
