Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 29, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Patch, operated by Patch ("we", "us", "our"), including the website at https://getpatch.app and the application at https://dashboard.getpatch.app.

By creating an account or using Patch, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Patch Does

Patch is a call outcome intelligence platform. We provision local phone tracking numbers on your behalf through Twilio, forward calls to your existing business phone number, record and transcribe calls, classify each call's outcome using AI, and display results on your dashboard.

Patch is a data processor, not a data controller. Call recordings originate from Twilio's infrastructure on your behalf. Patch processes recorded audio ephemerally to classify call outcomes, then discards the audio and transcript. Only call metadata, the classification outcome, and a short evidence snippet are retained.

2. Account and Access

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with unauthorized users.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Patch offers usage-based subscription plans. All plans include all features — the only difference between plans is capacity (number of tracking numbers and included minutes).

Billing is handled through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges according to your selected plan. Overages for additional numbers or minutes beyond your plan allocation are calculated and billed at the end of each billing cycle.

All plans include a 7-day money-back guarantee. Cancellation requests should be directed to support@getpatch.app.

4. Tracking Numbers

Patch provisions local phone numbers through Twilio on your behalf. These numbers are owned by Patch's Twilio account and are assigned to your subscription. You may not transfer, port, or claim ownership of tracking numbers provisioned through Patch.

Tracking numbers remain active for the duration of your subscription. We reserve the right to release numbers associated with cancelled or lapsed subscriptions.

5. Call Recording and Consent

Patch records calls made to your tracking numbers for the purpose of AI classification. It is your responsibility to ensure that call recording complies with all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to one-party and two-party consent requirements.

We recommend that you enable a recording disclosure message or otherwise inform callers that calls may be recorded. Patch provides tools to configure call handling, but compliance with recording consent laws is your responsibility.

6. AI Classification

Patch uses AI (large language models) to classify call outcomes. AI classification is provided as-is and may not be perfectly accurate in all cases. Classifications are probabilistic assessments, not guarantees of call outcome.

You should review classifications that inform significant business decisions. Patch provides evidence snippets to support each classification for your review.

7. Data Handling

Patch processes call audio and transcripts ephemerally. The lifecycle is: record → transcribe → sanitize → classify → discard. Full transcripts and audio recordings are never stored persistently.

Sensitive data (credit card numbers, CVVs, expiry dates) is automatically redacted before AI processing using placeholder tokens.

For full details on data handling, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Google Ads Integration

If you use the Google Ads Enhanced Conversions export feature, you are responsible for ensuring that sharing caller phone numbers with Google complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA where applicable.

Patch exports raw (unhashed) phone numbers in E.164 format. Google handles hashing and matching.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Patch for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Use Patch to conduct surveillance or harassment
  • Resell or redistribute Patch's services without authorization

10. Limitation of Liability

Patch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that classifications will be error-free, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that tracking numbers will be available in all area codes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Patch's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the application. Continued use of Patch after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support@getpatch.app.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
